December 15, 2009 Non-Safety-Related Voluntary Recall of Certain Lots of H1N1 Vaccine
Sanofi Pasteur announced a voluntary recall today for certain lots of its H1N1 vaccine due to a slight decrease in vaccine potency over time. The recall is not safety-related and only affects shots for children under 3 years of age. The vaccine is still expected to be effective, and there is no need to re-vaccinate.
