Erica Sharp was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and spent her early years living between the United States, England, and her native country. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1992, and after traveling in Central America she returned to New Orleans, where she graduated from Tulane School of Medicine in 1997. Subsequently, she completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Maryland in Baltimore before heading to Austin, Texas, to begin her pediatric practice.

Dr. Sharp has been practicing in Austin since 2000, and joined North Austin Pediatrics, P.A. in the summer of 2004.

Dr. Sharp is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Sharp enjoys children of all ages, and has a special interest in adolescent care.
